Iolanthe’s Kids: Zamora Moon

This little sweetheart is 7 year old Zamora Moon. She is wearing a hat spun and knit by Lora. Zamora Moon is battling DIPG. Her Mom Marisa sent us this beautiful photo and this sweet note: “Thank you so much for all the goodies today!! She is happily wearing her hat! You are so sweet. Much love to you !!! We love it!!! Thank you for helping us help her fight this brain cancer!”

On their GoFundMe page, her Mom is trying to get Zamora into a trial in the UK to save her life:

“Zamora Moon Lusinchi was diagnosed with a brain cancer that has a 0% survival rate. It is called DIPG. We are encouraged by a trial in England so we may try and save her life. We have to pay for it in order to do it, so we are fund raising to try and get this money. We thank you for what ever you can give. The trial will cost us $93,000, plus airfare, plus accommodations, and we must fly back to Bristol 5 more times to get infusions. This will be adding up. I have also taken off work, so I have no longer that income as a teacher, and we pay for Zamora’s acupuncture, herbal medicines, and her added medical cost out of pocket. We are so grateful for everything!! I cannot describe the gratitude we feel for all the people we know and a lot we do not know for helping us save Zamora’s life.”

Please show Zamora and her family love on her Facebook page. Please donate what you can, here is the link to her GoFundMe page. Every bit helps. xo, M
