Meet Iolanthe’s Kids:

call them Iolanthe’s Kids. They are amazing. They are some of *the* most inspirational humans on the planet, and we are honored to be a small part of their journey.
These kids have been kind enough to share their stories and photos with us:

To date we have sent out goodyboxes to kids in 38/50 states and 4 countries (including Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom). Now you can search all of our kids’ stories using the tools in the sidebar, top left).

Iolanthe’s Kids: Emily

emily

Emily was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare aggressive tissue cancer. This Tinker Bell -loving superhero endured 71 infusions, 58 chemotherapy treatments, 28 radiation treatments, 53 overnight stays in the hospital, and 14 cycles of treatment for 43 weeks during treatment. We’re so thrilled to have Emily as one of Iolanthe’s Kids.

Emily has relapsed, you can learn more about the next steps in Emily’s Journey by following this link.

Special thanks to Scott Dobek for the gorgeous custom name keychain and to Jo Basford for the Enchanted Forest postcards. Emily’s hat was spun and knit by Alison out of Sunny’s fiber, with one of Marian’s gorgeous hand-felted flowers in Tinker Bell’s peridot.
