This hat is going out to the awesomeness that is Parker — a true superhero in every sense of the word.
Parker was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in December of 2014, and had to have his right leg amputated. He has gone through more in the last 3 years than some people do in a lifetime, and has done so with a sense of humor and boundless determination.
If you’ve yet to hear Parker’s story, take a few minutes and go learn about his fight on his fb page: POWER FOR PARKER.

Parker has been one of Iolanthe’s Kids since 2016, and for all of Iolanthe’s Kids still in battle, if they’ve outgrown their hat, they are welcome to have another.
The book is about his buddy, Bill. His hat was spun and knit out of Faith’s fiber by Alison.
Oh and, if you want to be blown away by just how awesome Parker is, watch him on the court, scoring right at the buzzer:
Parker is a true superhero in my book.
